The Prisoner Side Stories: The Rover
The game I made was based on the The Prisoner from 1967, it was created for a university project.
This section of the game was developed in order to teach the player the basic platforming mechanics.
Though it initially had the player pushing barrels in order to line up the jumps, this was later removed due to technical issues with the engine.

The underwater section on the game is based on an aspect in the show, where The Rover rises from under the ocean or from a fountain. With this i thought to use this in the game where the player has to jump on a pad to reach the the top of the water, which they can then roll on top of, which is something the rover can do in the show.

This section was designed in order to give the game variety as well as use different aspects of the Prisoner in different ways.
The final section of the game, is supposed to represent how the Rover chases citizens who disobey the rules of the Village, as a training facility it uses cardboard cutouts rather then people.
This section was designed to give the player an inside look into how the rover has to listen to orders.
The game as mentioned is based on the TV series the Prisoner but rather than playing as Number 6 the protagonist of the TV series you play as one of the antagonist: The Rover.
As the rover in my game, you go through a series of small tests in a rover test simulation. To do this i built a number of different rooms that showcase a number of things present in the actual show.
